At Nativity, we’re proud to offer a range of after school programs that give students the opportunity to learn, grow, and connect beyond the classroom. Through partnerships with trusted third-party organizations, students can take part in enriching activities such as fitness and movement, creative arts, language learning, martial arts, and strategic thinking. In addition, our Crunch program provides a supportive space for 6th-8th grade students to stay after school, complete homework, and get extra help as needed. Whether your child is mastering karate, exploring their artistic side, learning Spanish, or focusing on academics, there’s something for everyone to enjoy after school at Nativity!
Mondays - Sterling Karate for grades K-8 After-school karate classes for students in grades K-8 build strength, confidence, and character. Participants learn discipline, self-control, and focus; improve their memory skills; and work toward achieving belt levels as they grow in both skill and spirit. Classes are on Mondays from 2:45-3:45 PM in the Nativity Auditorium, and are $64 per month.
Tuesdays - HIIT Sessions for grades K-3 Join us after school for a high energy strength and cardio workout that will enhance endurance and coordination. High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) is a training technique in which you give all out 100% effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. HIIT meets immediately after school in front of the library until 3:40. There will be two 7-week sessions in each half of the school year. The cost for each session is $85.
Tuesdays or Thursdays - Language Sprout Spanish for grades K-5 Language Sprout programs prepare your child with the skills they will need in our ever-changing, global society, providing an effective approach to language learning that is fun, too! Classes are offered weekly from 2:40-3:40 PM, September 16-May 19; students can sign up for either Tuesdays or Thursdays. Weekly classes are $1,229 for the full year. Wednesdays - KidCreate for ages 5-12 We are pleased to host two 6-week after school sessions of KidCreate classes this fall, September 17-October 29 and November 5-December 17. Thursdays - Grandmasters of Chess for grades K-5 The Youth Enrichment League (YEL) offers weekly chess lessons from 2:45-3:45 PM. Students start the program learning the basics of piece movement, capture, check, piece value, and of course, sportsmanship.
