Each fall, Nativity students come together in faith, service, and school spirit for our annual Marathon for Non-Public Education, a beloved tradition that supports our school through fitness, fun, and community giving.
Students in grades K–5 will lace up their sneakers for a day of running and celebration, while our middle school students will take part in meaningful service projects through the House Advisory System, serving local organizations and giving back to the wider community.
Our goal each year is to have as many students participate as possible and to raise over $30,000. We think this is a very realistic goal and one that we can reach if we all do our part. Every penny raised by Nativity students is given directly to Nativity school. The proceeds from the marathon are used in two different ways. A large portion of the proceeds are applied directly to the operating budget. Any money raised beyond that goal is used to purchase materials and equipment for the school. The marathon is a great opportunity for us to make important and useful additions to our school.
This important fundraiser directly supports Nativity of Our Lord School, helping fund daily operations, classroom materials, and student activities. We’re deeply grateful for the generosity of our families, friends, and neighbors. Your support strengthens our mission and helps our students grow in both faith and service.
